Virtual Tour | Historic Mary House
Mary House was the country home of William F. Hitt and his family; it was constructed in the 1910s. At the time, the building was part of a very large estate with a rich history of horses, parties, and politics. Today, Mary House is home to our Admissions and Advancement team. It also serves as a hub for special events, both for Middleburg Academy as well as the community at large.
Mary House as an Academic Center
Mary House also features a classroom in what was originally the building's ballroom/chapel. In addition, students are always welcome to utilize the house during their free block, and can be seen reading or working quietly in a variety of spaces.
