head coach kasey morris

Kasey Morris was already in the pool at six months old when her parents enrolled her in water safety classes.  At the age of 12, she started taking the sport seriously, focusing on backstroke and the mid-distance and distance freestyle events. Ultimately, Coach Morris was recruited to swim Division I at Princeton University, where she was a point scorer on the Ivy League Championships team.

In high school, Coach Morris was undefeated all four years in regular season dual meets. She finished her senior year with a Virginia state championship in the 400 short course meter freestyle, setting both a state and national public school record in the process.

Also a year round swimmer, she has qualified for USA Swimming Senior and Junior Nationals, the US Open, Winter Nationals, and National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) Junior Nationals in various events. She has six Boys & Girls Club National Championship titles and has won at Virginia Swimming Senior Championships in numerous events.

Coach Morris has also dabbled in long distance swimming. She has an Eastern Zone Championship title in the 3,000-meter open water swim and is the current US Masters Swimming national record holder for the 5K postal swim in the 18-24 age group.

When not involved with our swim team, Coach Morris works in Mary House with Mrs. Bell in institutional advancement and admissions. In her spare time, she plays polo and foxhunts with the Middleburg Hunt.
