Jacob Todd / Assistant Dean of Students and English & History Teacher
For as long as Jacob Todd can remember, his passions have revolved around community involvement and development. While attending high school in Suffolk, Virginia, Jacob explored these interests through time as a class officer, team captain, and school ambassador. As an undergraduate at Virginia Tech, Jacob furthered these experiences through extensive involvement working with New Student and Family Programs, as well as serving his undergraduate fraternity as an executive member.
Jacob was always drawn to reading and writing, which led him to earn his degree in English Literature. He found a strong interest for interdisciplinary application of his acquired research skills and worked as an Undergraduate Archivist within Virginia Tech Special Collections for two years. Since graduating, he has developed a particular affinity for the works of Thomas Wolfe.
When not at Middleburg Academy, Jacob will be spending as much time as he can at his family's home in the Outer Banks of North Carolina or back in Blacksburg, Virginia, watching some Hokie Football.
