Affordability & Tuition
Middleburg Academy is committed to enrolling a student body diverse in interests, talents, race, ethnicity and economic background. While we firmly adhere to the principle that the primary responsibility for funding a student’s education lies with the family, we understand financial aid may be necessary to enable students to attend the Academy. The goal of our financial aid program is to help bridge the gap between what a family can reasonably be expected to contribute and costs associated with attending Middleburg Academy. Financial aid decisions are made independent of admission decisions; Middleburg Academy’s admission process is need-blind. We hope you find these tools helpful in selecting a tuition plan that is right for you. Should you have any questions or concerns as you navigate this page, please contact Ms. Brenda Fowler, our Business Manager at email@example.com or 540-687-5581.
Middleburg Academy is able to offer three payment options:

The Academy treats all families fairly, equitably and consistently in its consideration of requests for, and distribution of, financial aid. In order to determine a family’s eligibility to receive financial aid, Middleburg Academy subscribes to the FACTS assessment service which calculates a family’s need and the expected family contribution (EFC) using a methodology that takes into consideration many items, including: income, assets, liabilities, family size and the number of students in tuition-charging schools. Middleburg Academy requires all financial aid applicants to apply for financial aid each year of matriculation. Financial aid is determined and renewed annually on the basis of current demonstrated financial need. Middleburg Academy reserves the right to amend awards if new information comes to light after an award is granted.
- All financial aid materials need to be submitted by MARCH 1, 2016.
- Parents will be notified of financial aid awards by APRIL 1, 2016.
Apply Through FACTS
Parents of newly accepted students, as well as present parents whose students have been invited to return to the school in the fall, are eligible and welcome to apply for financial assistance at Middleburg Academy.
Please refer to the directions below to complete and submit to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, your family’s new application for the 2015-2016 academic year. A completed application includes all Federal Tax forms (1040s, schedules and W-2 forms) for the 2015 calendar year.
Completed applications, subsequent assessments and grant awards will begin to be communicated on or before April 1. Please note that as financial aid budgets become rapidly depleted in the spring, it is important to complete the application and the subsequent evaluation as soon as possible.
Go to https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3Q37X and click on the respective Grant and Aid Assessment prompts to begin your application. Create only one application, even if you have more than one child applying for financial aid at Middleburg Academy.
