A native of Charlottesville, VA, George Andrews is a new addition to the teaching staff of Middleburg Academy’s Visual Arts Department.  He arrives with seven years instructional experience, as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees from the esteemed San Francisco Art Institute.

“I believe creativity is the basis of all the academic disciplines,” says Mr. Andrews and he looks forward to playing a part in inspiring Middleburg Academy learners.

George Andrews enjoys creating art, reading, meditation, working in the garden, and athletics in addition to teaching.  He has a significant other named Susan and a seven year old daughter named Ruby, who are both also involved with the arts.  They have two dogs.
