Middleburg Academy is a 9-12th grade learning community dedicated not just to academic excellence, but to building the character and civic understanding necessary to a full and productive life in the 21st century.  We believe that everything we do within the school should be intentional, according to this vision. 

We take pride in the fact that our academic program is an excellent preparation for college success, but without a strong moral foundation, a student’s education is incomplete. Spend time with us and you will come to appreciate our emphasis on character formation and citizenship throughout the programs and activities of the school. You might accompany some of our students in a new service program helping younger children in music and drama therapy classes; or you might see what sportsmanship looks like in a difficult game; or you might simply enjoy the positive community atmosphere among our students and faculty. 

The greatest measure of any school is its faculty, and while our teachers’ credentials are truly outstanding, it is their dedication to the art of teaching and their relationships with the students which are most noticeable. They generously and joyfully share their experiences, interests, and knowledge every day.

The lessons of Middleburg Academy do not end when the last bell rings.  We take seriously our motto, "Cognoscere, ducere, servire" - learn, lead, serve!
